I think what you wrote made a great deal of sense. However, think about this, what if you wrote a catchier post title? I am not suggesting your information is not good., but suppose you added a headline that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and note how they create news titles to get people to open the links. You might add a video or a picture or two to grab readers interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.
